Entries are now open for the 2024 Calendar Photo Competition.

The photograph chosen to grace the front cover of our 2024 calendar will claim the grand prize package. This includes a 65L Cooler Box, a High Sierra Speaker and Powerbank, an Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle, and an Innotech Outdoor Torch – the perfect companions for your adventures.

Our runner-up won’t be left empty-handed either. They will be awarded the High Sierra Speaker and Powerbank, the Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle, and an Innotech Outdoor Torch to light up their journeys.

But that’s not all! For the winners of the remaining ten months, we have something special in store – an Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle and an Innotech Outdoor Torch to accompany you on your photographic endeavours.

Before you embark on your photographic journey, be sure to review the complete Photo Competition Terms and Conditions provided below. They contain essential details to ensure a smooth and fair competition for all participants.

Photo Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility:

• The competition is open to all professional and amateur photographers.   

2. Theme:

• The theme for the 2024 Photo Competition is “Capture the Colours of the Landscape”.
• All submitted photos must adhere to the specified theme.

3. Submission Guidelines:

• Each participant can submit up to 12 photographs and must be landscape orientation. Although prizes are capped at one prize per individual regardless the amount of winning photos
• Photos must be the original work of the entrant and not previously published.
• Submissions should be in digital format (JPEG or PNG)
• Submissions should be high resolution taken with a professional camera or modern smartphone (Min size of 5MB recommended)
• Photos with photographers’ watermark or stamp will be excluded.
• Photos with people identifiable will be excluded.
• Upon submitting your photo entrants understand they are authorising full licencing to Progress Printing and their affiliates to use images within the calendar and marketing
• Winning photographs will be picked by management and staff at Progress Printing and their decision is final.
• Entries should be emailed to sales@progressprinting.com.au or by using the form below.

4. Image Editing:

• Minor adjustments for exposure, colour correction, cropping, and sharpening are allowed.
• Major alterations that significantly change the content or intent of the photo (e.g., adding or removing elements) are not permitted.

5. Ownership and Rights: 

• Photographers retain full rights to their submitted images.
• By entering the competition, participants grant Progress Printing a non-exclusive license to use the submitted photos for promotional purposes related to the competition.

6. Judging Criteria:

The photos will be judged by staff at Progress Printing considering creativity, composition, technical skill and vibrancy of colour.

There will be 12 winners, one for each month of the year. Winners will feature in the annual 2024 Photo Competition.

7. Prizes: 

• The photograph chosen to feature on the front cover of the calendar will be awarded the grand prize package. They will take home the 65L Cooler Box, the High Sierra Speaker and Powerbank, the Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle and the Innotech Outdoor Torch.
• The runner up will receive the High Sierra Speaker and Powerbank, the Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle and the Innotech Outdoor Torch.
• While the winners for the ten remaining months of the year will receive an Artic Zone Titan Cooper 1L Drink Bottle and an Innotech Outdoor Torch.

8. Deadline:

• Entries must be submitted before 5pm on Monday 9^th October 2023

9. Announcement of Winners:

• Winners will be announced on the Progress Printing social media platforms of Facebook and Instagram.

10. Disqualification: 

• Submissions may be disqualified if the photo has not been submitted by the owner of the image.

11. Privacy: 

• Entries will be credited with the name of the photographer with a description of the image, unless by special request
